Beautiful images exist all over the web, but the work I’ve created for my clients has been a part of my heart and soul since the first day I picked up the camera. As a Arvada, Colorado family photographer, I flourish in any setting getting to help create a lasting memory for a family. As a  maternity and newborn photographer, my heart warms when I get the chance to capture the precious newborn moments between a mother, child, siblings, and more.

Hi, I'm Erin

And I know that choosing a photographer is about more than just finding a style you like; it is about finding someone who actually "gets" your family. Let me take a moment and share why I am the best fit to capture your memories:

I believe in Connection over Perfection

If you are worried about your toddler not sitting still or your teenager giving an eye-roll, you can officially breathe a sigh of relief. As an Arvada family photographer, my goal isn’t to manufacture a fake version of your life. I am looking for the real stuff - the way your daughter twists her hair when she’s shy, the way your husband looks at you when you’re laughing, and the beautiful chaos of your everyday. We will get those "look at the camera" shots for the grandparents, but we will also spend our time capturing the soul of who you really are.

I am your Director and your Biggest Fan

Most people feel a little awkward the moment a lens is pointed at them. I get it! That is why I don’t just stand there and click. I am right there with you, directing the flow, cracking jokes, and cheering you on. I want you and your family to be photographed just like I would hire someone to photograph my own.

I’ve lived the seasons you’re in

As an Arvada senior photographer and a mother of two high school graduates and a college student, I have a deep, personal understanding of how fast the "little years" turn into "senior years." I know that these photos aren't just for your Instagram feed today; they are the legacy you are building for tomorrow. 

I know the "Hidden Gems" of Colorado

Being a Colorado native means I have a mental map of the best light in Arvada, the quietest corners of Boulder, and the perfect local parks for a dog-friendly session. Whether we are chasing the sunset in a field of wildflowers for your senior portraits or making donuts in your kitchen for a lifestyle session, I know how to make the landscape (and your home) work for you.
